Most of you are starting to understand how to write paragraphs on your research in your own words. A few people are done and ready to start publishing!
Math
Most of you have completed your skeletons and nets.
Today we reviewed algebra. If you do not know your multiplication, division, addition and subtraction facts, solving algebraic equations is difficult. Opposite operations works well, but these equations are simple enough that you should be able determine the value of the variable using mental math. Please complete the following practice for homework. Our last math quiz of the year will be on Monday! It will be on algebra.
Health
Tomorrow we will start presenting our "Say No to Smoking" skits. Remember to stay in role and don't lose sight of the purpose..... to tell students the harmful effects of smoking and ways to say no.
Fun time today blowing bubbles with your buddies!
Reminder
Tomorrow is hat day for a loonie or toonie. All the money collected will be given to World Vision in memory of a former student in our school board who lost her life in a car accident last year.
