Everyone worked so hard today writing their book. Most of you have finished your subtopics and are working on your introduction and conclusion. We'll be talking about how to write a glossary and how to write the about the author (that's you!) page.
You are welcome to stay after school from Monday to Wednesday of next week to work on your book.

Great job solving equations with two variables today. Remember you have an algebra quiz on Monday..... last math test of the year.... hooray! More practice....

Do you remember the two types of lenses? What is the difference in the shape of the eye ball in a person with nearsightedness? foresightedness? What type of lens corrects each?
How did you water magnifiers work? What shape of water drop magnified the printing the best?
What common objects have lenses? Try a larger container at home. Did it magnify objects more? How about a drop of oil, does it work as a magnifying lens?
