Math
Great job measuring the capacity of unknown containers. Remember, capacity if the amount of liquid a container can hold. It is measured in mL or L. Open the refrigerator tonight and take a look at the capacity of liquids and foods e.g. yogurt, milk, ice cream, juice box.

1000 mL = 1 L

Math test tomorrow:
Review exercises in text: pp 228 - 231; pp 140 - 143 (length, perimeter, area and time only)
Science
New vocabulary: transparent, translucent and opaque. If you would like to bring in some materials at home to test, feel free. Using a flashlight, how could you conduct an investigation to determine if a material is transparent, translucent or opaque? That will be your task tomorrow.
