Happy fourth week of summer!
One way to multiply a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number is to use EXPANDED form.
For example if we wanted to multiply 28 x 6, we could express 28 in expanded form as 20 + 8, then multiply 20 X 6 and 8 by 6 and add the two products.


20 x 6 = 120  8 x 6 = 48 so 28 x 6 = 120 + 48 which is 168
Don't worry about using base-ten blocks.
