Social Studies / Reading
Please practice reading the chapter on the Hudson Bay Lowlands OUT LOUD. Use your flip chart to come up with at least one green or yellow question for each section.

Please submit your Bit Strip Comic by the end of the week. Read the notes I send back to you carefully.

Math
Review the two different ways we can look at division. We can have sharing problems and grouping problems. How are they different?
Example Sharing:

Andrew has 18 cookies he would like to share with 6 friends. How many cookies should he give each friend?

18 ÷ 6 = 3 cookies each

Example Grouping:

Jacob has 18 cookies. He wants to give each of his friends 2 cookies. How many friends can he give 2 cookies to?

18 ÷ 2 = 9 friends

Think about how you could use multiplication to check your division.

PLEASE PRACTICE YOUR 3, 4 AND 5 TIMES TABLES!
