Geometry chapter task tomorrow. Make sure you understand the properties of each quadrilateral so you can use the clues to identify the name of shape of each name tag.
You should also be able to describe the angles inside the pattern blocks using your benchmark angles: right angle, straight angle and half a right angle. You should also know the measurement of each of these angles in degrees.
Writing:
Some of you are still struggling with the format of a persuasive letter. Paragraph 2, 3 and 4 each have one of your reasons and explanations of why those reasons should persuade the reader. Use the modeled letter in class and the success criteria closely.
Social Studies
Maps of the classroom are due on Thursday. Make sure your map is coloured and labeled neatly.
Only five students need to complete a Bit Strips. Read the feedback and use the assignment criteria closely.
Learning Skills
Class Dojo reports should be signed and discussed with your parents. Set goals in your agenda weekly in areas that you need to improve.
