Literacy:
Share your reading tests with your parents. Focus on what you did well and what you can do to improve the next test. If you're not pleased with your achievement, reflect on the reason. Do you need to ask more questions? Do you need to listen more closely in class? Do you need to slow down and try to think more critically? Do you need to make sure you understand the question?
Some excellent character trait words used to describe Peter. I was particularly impressed with the words perceptive, determined and clever.
Using different persuasive techniques is proving to be a challenge for many of you. At the very least, make sure you explain each reason clearly.
Math:
Geometry test tomorrow.
Know the quadrilateral tree branches (categories): kites, trapezoids, parallelograms and other quadrilaterals.
Know the properties of each quadrilateral.
Practice using the property cards to sort the shapes using a Venn diagram.
Use your dot paper to practice drawing congruent quadrilaterals and finding lines of symmetry.
