Today we read and discussed entertainment and food in Ancient Rome and Judea. Families in early societies had many similar pastimes as we have today. Share with your parents some of the games they played. Do you remember the game they played that was similar to Jacks? Make sure you complete the two questions for homework and revise and complete any other unfinished assignments. Is you book ready for assessment? Are you proud of your responses? Is it your very best work?
Judeans and Romans ate many of the same food we eat today every day. Do you remember which food were considered unclean or forbidden for Jews? Roman feasts were very "interesting". Would you like to eat dormice?

Our first day designing our Rube Goldberg..... Some groups need to do some troubleshooting (figuring out how to make it work). Think of the golf ball going down steps and link the steps together with inclined plains.... that's the easiest way. If you can incorporate a pulley or lever....that's awesome!
Dance
Tomorrow is our dance! Remember to wear your cowboy hat, jeans and a white t-shirt. Parents are welcome to attend. The junior / intermediate division will be presenting their dances at 10:30 am.
