Social Studies / Literacy
Make sure you're able to make connections between the landforms and climate. Oceans, mountains, altitude and distance from the equator will all affect climate. As well, make connections between the climate and physical features and recreational activities (what people do for fun).
If you lived near...... what would you do?
Ocean......Mountains......Magnificent Forests...

On Monday we will make connections between the climate, landform and work. What might people do for a living if they lived in the Cordillera that is different from someone who lives here in the Great Lakes Lowlands?

Math
The pictographs and bar graphs are looking great using Microsoft Word.
Remember to think about the conclusions that can be made from data you collect and the application of those conclusions. If we know that soccer and hockey are by far the most popular sports, what decisions can we make about equipment.... teams.... intramurals...schoolyard?

Health
What are the three major macro-nutrients? What are examples of micro-nutrients?
Please make sure you've chosen either a macro or micro-nutrient for your poster for Monday. What are three foods that are rich in your chosen nutrient? What does that nutrient do for your body? What happens if you are DEFICIENT or don't get enough of that nutrient?
