When designing your poster on your nutrient, how you present the information is just as important as what you write. Some tips:
  • Centre your text
  • Use a large bold font that is easy to read
  • The size of the font depends on the importance of the information e.g. the title is the most important so your nutrient should be the largest word on the poster
  • Only include the most important words e.g. do not write Vitamin A helps you see better, just write Helps you see better
  • The pictures should be large and have little or no background
Math
Are you able to draw good conclusions about graphs and charts?  We spent quite a bit of extra time writing logical conclusions about stem and leaf plots and double bar graphs. Make sure you understand what you did wrong.

Social Studies
Make sure your mind map is complete so you can complete a good copy with your partner for display. Make connections between bubbles. Write the connections on the lines and around the bubbles.

Health
Day 3 of Healthy Living Journal should be done today. Bring it in tomorrow for me to check.
The Growing Chefs team comes in tomorrow...... it will be a lot of fun! They will be talking about fractions. Do you know what a fraction is? How are fractions used in cooking? Use the link to the right to review basic fractions.

Key Boarding
Practice your key boarding skills using BBC Typing (link at the right). You'll be able to type like a pro on the laptops!
